So I'm guessing I have time to watch another Womens SP before Pairs actually start skating?

I guess we're getting the Opening Ceremonies. Does someone have a schedule that shows when the skating actually begins?

The Pairs SP is scheduled to start at 18:45 local time in Prague.
Thanks. So, with the introduction of judges/technical panel and the 6-minute warm-up, it's going to be another 20 minutes. :) Hope Peacock gets the feed going properly by then.

Noted. But the Zambonis just left and they are doing crowd-fluffing rather than judge introducing so I think the first program is still going to be 20 minutes from when I said. :D
You couldn't prove it by me as the CBC GEM re-stream of the ISU stream has yet to start and we are still geoblocked from the ISU stream :(

No judges/technical panel introduction
They are starting the warmup late so my prediction that the first team to take the ice for their program will happen at 10:55 am is still going to be pretty close. :D

Why would they change the technical tracker to have a yellow line under the box instead of just doing the yellow box like they were doing before? The different colour boxes makes more sense.

AkoRakh - 3tw and throw 3z - both excellent - high & airy; SBS 3s - he pitched forward - may have had a hand down? lift - good; step seq - fine; BIDS - split jump entrance was interesting; SBS spins - excellent unison on 1st & 3rd positions, 2nd was messy in part because they drifted a bit too close for my liking on the spacing.

Overall solid start and I'm sure they'll make the FS.

I think they wanted to find a way to indicate the judges were still giving an element positive GOE even while the tech panel was marking it for review.

I like the yellow line. I want to know if the item had + or - GOE even a few elements later when I've forgotten the actual score.
I like it too. And I like them showing the planned elements & base score at the start. I'm not keen on the timer at the bottom, it's not like it's some kind of race or that they are likely to not finish in time. They could just show it right at the end if they have to.

I find it distracting but it does tell us when they are getting the jump bonus without the commentators having to tell us 1000x times.

(Not that it stops them but it slows them down.)
