Japan may not have many pairs teams on the senior international circuit; but, what they lack in quantity they sure make up for in quality.

Is it dominance when they only have two pairs teams at both the senior & junior levels?I did not have Japanese dominance on my Future of Pairs Bingo Card

How difficult will it be for Pazienza/Knorr to get minimums? They usually place near the bottom in international competitions.SUI gets 2 pairs spots
Says the person whose favourite team just skated to “Ghost: The Musical”I have little confidence they'll get one now that they're with Savin/Klimov.

Good for the new Junior team of Laura GAUCH / Linus MAGER if they could be ready next season?SUI gets 2 pairs spots
The Canadians #2 did at the Olympics as I recall.I think I never saw an aborted death spiral![]()
Back a dump truck full of cash up to Cathy Reed's house and give her free reign to make changes. Couldn't hurt! Now that they will be Japanese #1 their scores will go up. Good for Japan making a pairs program out of nothing. Now to do the same for dance…
Impossible since they've split & she's looking for a new partner. Their other team that competed Jrs this season (and went to Jr Worlds) have a SB of 118.58 - so the likelihood of SUI using the 2nd spot is about 1%.How difficult will it be for Pazienza/Knorr to get minimums? Sikharulidze is cracking down on country switching so HUN and GEO are unlikely to recruit new pairs. So, Germany, Georgia & Hungary are all in a position to earn 3 pairs spots next season and between the 3 countries, they have 4 pairs teams at the senior level...
Doubtful. They scored 118.58 at Jr Worlds a few weeks ago.Good for the new Junior team of Laura GAUCH / Linus MAGER if they could be ready next season?

What's that saying about the size of the dog in the fight? For Japanese pairs teams, we could amend it to something like: "It's not the amount of teams in the fight but the amount of fight in the teams."Is it dominance when they only have two pairs teams at both the senior & junior levels?
Yeah, and Russian media keeps thinking the ban will be lifted sooner rather than later. I'm sort of expecting it to last through next season - the ISU won't lift their ban until the IOC says they can allow seniors back; heck the ISU hasn't even moved on/made a decision to allow juniors back despite the IOC allowing IFs to do so back in December.Sikharulidze is cracking down on country switching so HUN and GEO are unlikely to recruit new pairs.
I'd be A-OK wth that.We need more Meatloaf.....
perhaps this will inspire more Japanese skaters to go into pairs. I did say futureIs it dominance when they only have two pairs teams at both the senior & junior levels?

He and Klimov are becoming the I.AM for pairs.Does anyone know anything about Dimitri Savin’s skating background? I couldn’t find anything. He does great work
Will they have 2 pairs on the podium?Imagine an extended FS to Paradise by the Dashboard Lights !I'd be A-OK wth that.
I don't think so. PerMich had a 6 point advantage over NagaMori and PavSvia from the SP.He and Klimov are becoming the I.AM for pairs. Will they have 2 pairs on the podium??
