2026 Worlds Mens FS PBP - You Will Score Something, But Not Nothing

I'm not sure that Tatiana and Roman's kid can top that. :watch:

He has a considerable lead, so he could still lose the FS and win overall though.
Depends on which Ilia we get today. If we get GPF Ilia then he will top what Yuma did by 25 points. Even if we get a slightly less than GPF Ilia where he doesn't go for the 4Lo, he's still more than capable of topping Yuma's FS score. And with the SP lead... He's got some room to play with here, though I'm hoping that we don't see a repeat of Milano.

Gogo is skating great too! He'll easily be no worse than 6th and that's a remarkable result considering where he was just a year ago.

Awww, Kevin, preparing the way. May Yuma stay there. Till the end.

Gogolev is a necessary cool down after Yuma. If Selevko or Yuma or Ilia had skated next, my poor brain could not have handled it. This is not a knock at Gogolev's skating--I'm just the least invested in him and need the emotional break. That's...a heckuva tech score for him. :respec:

Olympic women: we're the best ever. Bow down to our amazingness.

Worlds men: hold my quad.

Wow! 2 amazing skates in a row! I'm so so happy for Canada that GoGo has transformed and is so consistent and confident now. Hopefully we'll see him on many podiums in future.
IIRC, it's his 7th and 8th in 2026. Two at the Nationals, four at the Olympics (his first) and now (his first Worlds). No hint of imploding, a wonderful achievement.
