Oof on Holly's twizzles, but they have really elevated this program over the two years they've had this program.

Gilles/Poirier haven't even said they're retiring yet. I think when Jackie Wong asked them on his podcast they said they were going to decide in the off season.

The way I look at it is, if you want to have a life outside of skating at some point, retiring in your mid-20s is a good idea. If your life after elite skating is going to be in skating, why not stay in as long as you are enjoying it and your body and money hold out.

The way I look at it is, if you want to have a life outside of skating at some point, retiring in your mid-20s is a good idea. If your life after elite skating is going to be in skating, why not stay in as long as you are enjoying it and your body and money hold out.

Honestly I could kind of see Piper and Paul staying just to be able to compete the Golden Waltz next season. I know they've been one of the teams that wanted a waltz pattern and they did seem pretty excited about it on Jackie Wong's podcast.

I like Yoshida/Morita's RD better than their FD but they've still improved a lot and I'm looking forward to seeing them again next season.

Yeah that looked very clunky at best. I was amazed that they were able to finish it.
