How is this any different from any other Olympic year Nats production by NBC?

Johnny, I really don't think there is anyone "at home" thinking that a quad axel is easy and they might go try it.

Oh, there are definitely blowhard assholes sitting at home thinking that a quad axel is far easier than, say, being a pro quarterback. I've encountered them on X.

All this attention on Maxim is making me think NBC wants him on the Olympic team for the story.

The "side plots" for NBC seems to be Alisa's Congressional countdown plus Max's tragedy. I'm worried for Max, he shouldn't have to deal with the extra pressure, but his team has been around forever so I hope they had plans to help him through NBC bullshittery.

Nahhhhh. My youngest brother loved football and he's always been fit. He'd have probably been the right height for a decent pairs skater had he ever caught the skating bug. Alas, he started all four years in HS and then ended his football career, lol.

This is my ideal lineup too. I have a soft spot for Tomoki though, and I wouldn't be mad at Torgy either. I just want the least headcasey splatfest possible in the LP. I also want a million dollars. We'll see which happens first.

I mean, I think a lotta folks are kidding themselves if they think Maxim isn't nearly everyone's "heart pick". My head tells me Tomoki's had a great season and put up the best argument after the big two. But I'd love to see Maxim on that team for purely sentimental reasons.

Jimmy ended last season on such a high emotional note. In retrospect, maybe it would have been better for him to have stepped away at that point. It's sad to see him struggling so much and not presenting like he used to.
