2026 U.S. Sectional Singles & Pairs/Dance Finals

Does anyone know who is now coaching Grace Zhang, novice women?
She was coached by the Naumovs prior to everything and the coach only appeared in the K&C for a second!
It looks like Serhii Vaypan but I cannot tell for sure.

I am so happy for Hitonari! Hope that he will do well for free, too!

I just became an instant fan of Grace Zhang (SCOB) after her reaction to her score in the K&C and waving to the camera, thanking people for watching. :D

I hope to post a few notes about the top Novice women's short programs later.

Fabulous skate for Patrick - 3A was solid; not so great program for Henry - fell on the 3lo; fell on the opening jump of his combo.

It's been a while since I last logged in to Peacock. Why am I getting transferred to the NBC Universal website when I click the Peacock website on my PC?

A calm & confident Patrick: 3A floaty, 3Lo smooth & 3Lz+3T plus Ilia's Raspberry move - 80.90 wow!

Henry's speed/flow/ice coverage is really wonderful! SP music is Man of La Mancha: Overture by Mitch Leigh/The Impossible Dream performed by Josh Groban. He skated well at the U.S. Junior Cup in Milwaukee - landing his jumps there to medal back in July to get his JGP debut assignment. Tough jumping day today. :( 47.70 - ended up in 7th.

Brendan (Shazam identified the 2nd half song as 6God by Drake): 3Lo fell out, 3S [called 2S in protocol] (3turns)+3T hand, 2A. Daniel Raad was in the k&c. 54.77 - ended up in 5th.

Zachary (Dark Times by The Weekend, Ed Sheeran/False Alarm by The Weeknd, Ben Diehl Belly): easy 2A (I've seen a recent 3A practice clip), 3F step out?+2?T fall [called 3F+3Tq by tech panel], 3Lo hand. 63.27 2nd - ended up in 4th.

Edited to add placements & info from the SP protocols.

Are you Googling Peacock and going in that way? Maybe try clearing the cache on your browser?

You're definitely not using a VPN that would put you outside the U.S.?

I am not using VPN now - now I am able to log in but it keeps saying "the coverage begins shortly," which happened last time, too. Maybe I just stop using Peacock altogether, lol.

Caleb (Otoño Porteño by Astor Piazzolla) - 2A with great distance & flow out, 3Lo, 3Lz+3T smooth. Forward camel changes to clear outside edge, such lovely carriage! 73.06 2nd.

Aleksandr/"Sasha" (Always with Me, Always with You by Joe Satriani) - 2A, 3Lz+3T, 1Lo. Michal Brezina from Team Raf in Irvine, CA is with him. 66.45 3rd (he thinks it's too high? ;)).

ETA music & jump notes for the final 2 men:

John Liu (Shazam IDs music as "David's Writings by Christopher Willis) - 3F (3turns)+2T, 3Lo fall, 2A. Viktor Pfeifer. 47.72 6th.

David Lu (You? by Two Feet) - 3Lo, 3T (hand)+2T, 2A. 51.28 5th.

I see Patrick, Caleb and Alexander as future U.S. Olympic skaters.

Patrick is so athletic and exciting. That triple axel was great!
Caleb is so elegant and classy, with great classical quality skating. I’m a huge fan already.
Fegan is similar to Caleb…very elegant. I was amazed how well he performed and interpreted the jazz piece. He has grown a ton but adjusting his jumps to the growth. Also been a fan of Sasha since he was really small due to his ballet training.
