2026 Olys Womens SP PBP - Cheated Rivalry

I'm one of the seemingly few people who roots for Gubanova to do well but I think on her recent form she'll do well if she makes the penultimate group. With that in mind I'd like to see an all USA/JPN final group.
I guess a lot of people would at this point for one reason

Not a fan of Liu's flip getting reviewed. If she gets a !, Sakamoto deserves e. More accurately eeeeee. Combo getting reviewed too, but looked better than the team event to me.

I do love this program and also how she skates it. I'm not the biggest fan of either Liu or Sakamoto, but I'd take Liu on a head-to-head. I prefer the control and ease of her skating v. the wild power of Sakamoto.

I'd put it first over Nakai even without the 3A, but think it will go second.

Alysa Liiu - Shallow point: I am clearly too old to understand the appeal of the stripy hair. Onto the skating - good start. Jumps will be reviewed; combo in particular looked short on rotation to me. Lovely spins. Lovely program. Well done.
