I who am in no teknik throw the question out there: Would it be possible to design a free program with no loop?

Waiting for @Private Citizen to complain about Hendrickx in response to this

(eta to say that yes, Loena Hendrickx doesn't jump a loop, something PC has historically been annoyed by)

Nice skate from Amber - not perfect, but she committed to the performance at the end more than she often has. Great moment for her!

I noticed this, too. Softer arm movements in the beginning and intentional eye contact with judges in the middle of the program. I don't watch everything she does super closely, but the eye contact seemed new.

This is the only skate that I watched without glancing at the live scoring, it seems to have worked.

Did Puffs complain that their tissue boxes weren't visible enough? Because those are closer to the camera than they were before.

I was noticing them a lot today as well. Were they there for all the other disciplines? Ryuichi Kihara could have used an entire box all by himself when he was in the K/C after their FS performance. Bless him.

I mean, honestly, if that was the final group I'd be real satisfied with the women's event. That was. better than any third group had any right to me. Makes me feel like I need to break out the salted caramel vodka for the next two groups.

I think the problem is less the loop specifically and more whatever jump is at the end of Amber's program.

She's seemed a little iffy over her feet these whole Games. Her step sequences have all come after a mistake, though, so hard to know if it's a physical or a concentration issue.

I think the problem is less the loop specifically and more whatever jump is at the end of Amber's program.

The running threes into the jump could be removed for a different transition into the jump. Although she's done that entry for forever, it seems.

Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh! I prayed for Amber yesterday and this morning to just get out there, have fun and do what she did best. That triple axel was to die for, and all her jumps were spot on except the last one and who cares!!! She did it and was so happy! This has made my day, y'all!
