Did they just have their Mirai moment? Mirai landing the triple axel and skating as well as she did put a end to Italy sneaking up on the US for the Bronze medal in 2018 in the TE when it was getting a little to close for comfort.

I'm SO happy for Ellie!!!! She has struggled with impostor syndrome, feeling like she isn't good enough to skate with Danny and she's worked so hard. Whatever happens with medals, they killed it and should be so proud!!

No matter what happens in the individual event they've already had a Olympic moment to last for the rest of their lives. Everything after this is just gravy.
