Which is why I wouldn't pay to attend when I can watch on TV and have a better seat. I'd go to speed skating events or alpines and board events, but not figure skating unless there was some skater I really really wanted to see live.My brother and sister are in Milan (they are going to watch hockey tomorrow) and they are receiving constant mails telling them that there are still tickets available (including FS) they are so mad that the prices are unreasonable
I wish I could spend calories just from watching the olympics (more than the ones I use sitting here on my recliner)
It could be that they just give the lowest # of points available and work upwards with the points as each skater goes.Soooo NBC just automatically gave GB 1 point for Appleby. Assuming the men won’t men?

Hm. Well, they’ve never seen Bad Kevin, then…It's not NBC. They add the points as of the time of the skater finishing on the 'official' graphic.

Yes, after Chock/Bates skated second to last yesterday and were in first place the graphic showed that they earned 9 points. Of course that later changed to 10 after Fear/Gib went behind them.It could be that they just give the lowest # of points available and work upwards with the points as each skater goes.

It's nothing to do with that. It's showing the minimum points the country has as of the time of finishing the skate/getting their score. They can't assign 10 to the first skater and then have the team lose points the whole way through.Hm. Well, they’ve never seen Bad Kevin, then…
