Considering only the skating (ignoring off-ice stuff) it really could have gone either way in the end.

I'm just ecstatic for Gilles & Poirier.

I'm not one for all the 'so and so should have retired years ago' talk, but I am looking forward to a new generation finally getting ahead next season.

Well, I am really sad for Chock and Bates, but I expected this. Very sad for Fear and Gibson . That I did not expect.

Am happy about the great result for Zingas and Kolesnik - on to the next quad!

I'd like to see Chock/Bates retire to be honest. I love them but they bore me at the same time. Would love to see a change. Zingas and Kolesnik are 23/24 and are sparkling little diamonds.

I adore Cizeron and wasn't really crazy about Maddie and Evan's program---until today. I really enjoyed them. Cizeron is brilliant but it wasn't as good today. That said Chock and Bates have had a sparkling career and two golds and thank God Piper and Paul were sublime.

I always love watching medal ceremonies. I never skip them unless I have to (work and stuff, you know). But I'm not watching this one. I'll wait for pictures and videos of P2 with their bronze medals and I'll just look at that.

Yesssss!!!!! Thrilled for FB/C gold and Piper/Paul bronze!! I was so nervous for both couples I could barely watch.

Good on C/B as well for finally getting their individual medal. F/G aren't anywhere close to my favorite team but sad to see them lose it with mistakes.
