BREAKING Canadian pairs team Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Max Deschamps have withdrawn from the team event at the Olympics. Stellato-Dudek was injured during a training session. Their Olympics are in jeopardy. I’m tracking updates at the rink.

This is just devastating for Deanna and Max. To work so hard and wait for so long to get to the Olympics....
Medal contenders or not, what a terrible blow.

I hope they are able to compete in the pairs event.
