Well, that's not going to put Jacob on the podium unless both Ebihara & Nishino screw up badly but it will be enough for the US to earn back the 3rd spot for next year and maximize our JGP spots.

Pretty sure this Moonlight Sonata version was used on The Traitors at some point since they love going for the best of classical with a modern twist all the time. And you know if that's my first thought.....

I find everything, the posture, the stroking, the holding of elements, the positions to be rushed and very sloppy. Opposite of what most Japanese skaters excel at.

Nishino

Jumping clinic. Some armography but not a lot of linking footwork. Nice clean performance and he kept up with his powerful music. Easily first.

Nishino may have landed all his jumps but I'm not a fan - pretty much just a jumping clinic from him but even a lot of those were kind of gutted out.

Noshimo seems like he’s on the verge of disaster each jumping pass, but he keeps pulling them out. I’m hoping he can gain a bit more control & better use of his arms as he grows, but crazy competitive ability.

Nishino didn’t do much with exceptional quality, but everything was at least decent. Potential podium skate there.
