My feed is way behind. Their score is already up on the scoring site.

If you are watching DailyMotion using a browser, like I am, go to the pop-out "picture-in-picture" mode. When you hover the mouse over the pop-out you can see both the time you are watching and the live running time. If your watching time is more than 5 seconds behind the total running time you can use the "5 seconds forward" button to advance your feed multiple times until you get close to the live running time. (If you try to get to the exact live time, you will find your feed will freeze momentarily until a lag of about 5 seconds is achieved so better to just try to get close.)

I haven't been using CBC Sports or GEM feeds but there might be something similar there you can do too.

Today I have been running the live feed all afternoon/evening and check periodically on my lag time. Surprisingly it keeps getting behind even though I have been unaware of any pauses or blips so I wait for a convenient moment to catch back up. When I check less frequently I have even found I'm behind by more than a minute.)

They look happy with the score though. Realistically they knew the Olympics were a long shot.

I'm disappointed for Laurin and Ethier. They have improved a lot, and I didn't think the Olympics were that much of a long shot with how bad Pereira and Michaud have been this year (including last night).

A clean skate could've put them in realistic contention, IMO. Now, they've dug themselves a big hole. Even if they edge out P&M in the free skate, there's an excuse to name P&M to the team.

I know their quality is not yet world-class, but I admire their consistency when everyone else has been mopping up the ice. Wrong time to have a fall in the SP .

I think the beading on Deanna’s dress is really stunning. I do think it looks a tiny bit big for her and could be taken in, but it’s a beautiful dress.

Overall she and Max looked pretty good in the short. Other than some hesitation where they slowed down going into the throw I thought that was the best they have looked all season. More speed and flow this time whereas previously I felt they were often tight in multiple places.

Not sure what to say about Lia and Trennt. The mistakes continue to pile up and they seem unable to stop the dominoes from falling. I hope they change coaches if they continue after this season. There is good potential there, but they shouldn’t just be at “potential” 4 seasons in. The short program is a great piece for them, but not when there are so many mistakes.

The scoring here was bananas, even for a nationals. Very “Whose Line is it Anyway”. What’s the line? Everything is made up and the points don’t matter? Felt like that.

Totally agree re Pereira and Michaud. Their first season, they came on so strong and all I could think of was the potential of the team. Since then, they really haven’t evolved a ton. From choreo to Music choices, it just hasn’t “raised” them to the next level. That, combined with more and more inconsistency (esp from Lia) makes me wonder if they really need to just move on to a new and fresh coaching team. This isn’t working right now and they definitely aren’t reaching their full potential.

Well, their "Mission" FS wasn't really working but I'm not sure going back to Gladiator is going to improve their chances at the Olympics.
