2025 Skate Canada Womens SP PBP - Night of the Cheating Edge

Well, I'd have Lara Naki in first, but the way this judging has gone so far, I fully expect her to slot in between Ami & Bradie.

Lara Naki Gutmann 🇮🇹
Coach: G. Minchio, S. Cuel, L. Mariotti
Music: La Legge Di Lidia Poet (soundtrack)

3T+3T
2A
Flying Camel Spin 4

3Lzq - tight landing
Sit Spin 4
Change Foot Combo Spin 4

Step Sequence 4

Great performance, and another strong program with choreography that works well with her style.

68.11 = 1st Place

Nice 3t-3t, 3z with negative GOE, like how her choreography is highlighting the tempo changes in the music, nice skate

Is Gutmann's dress black or deep burgundy? On my screen, I can't tell. Probably because I'm watching so many screens at one time my eyes are worn out!
It's actually purple but with a black overlay. (As far as I can tell)

To me, this is the route Sarah Everhardt needs to go by looking at some of Lara's programs. Squid Game, even Pyscho that was tame. Jaws this year. Sarah needs something kooky that at least her big jumps can somewhat sell.
Was just going to say that Lara is a great example of how to skate if you’re not naturally a smiley princess. And now her jumps are consistent, I never miss watching her.

I usually find Gutman to be a lesser Mikutina, but I think she has surpassed Olga with that program. I hope this just gets stronger over the season. Loved it!

And it's NOT a Benoit creation! :inavoid:

Mone's whickety whack around her shoulders is wreaking havoc with the colour balance on my TV.
