2025 Skate Canada Rhythm Dance PBP - I'm Too Spooky

JvRStef - I'm not sure what I just watched and I don't know that I feel like it screamed '90s, but I didn't hate it as a program, so I guess there's that.

Janse vas Rensburg/Steffan look sharp, managing to cover about twice as much ice in the choreo step as most teams. Programme is not bad, considering the dumb rules. I like her teal dress even if it isn’t 90s, and this isn’t the worst shirt he’s worn.

She looked so rough in the twizzle sequence. It was 'done' but her arms coming out every time and her body was off balance. L2 I see called for her. Her steps through the pattern are also shallow and sticky. I don't like the choreography and it looks super watered down while he quite literally skates circles around her.

This, too, is sloppy and Be My Lover is one of the pieces Thomas and I were begging of a team to use.

All the American teams on the GP so far (save C/B) have managed to make the programs look like Glee auditions.

Nothing special about this program, but they're selling it for all they're worth.

NesMark - there are way too many music edits. She also doesn't quite finish her moves - just not much sharpness from her today.

Sequential Twizzles W:2 M:4 (W:B M:4 after review)
Pattern Dance Type Step Sequence 3 (2 after review)
Choreo Rhythm Sequence
Diagonal Step Sequence W:2 M:2

Rotational Lift 4

Why pick one 90's super group when you can skate to all of them? What a miss of a program.

65.51 = 2nd Place

So, everybody, did you rock your body to that? If not, no one to blame but yourselves. A few low levels here again but it was kind of fun, no?
