Commitment to the performance, but the jumps were off right from the start. Even the ones that he's getting positive GOE on were not super secure.

That was a rough, rough program for Kevin. I don't see how that keeps him ahead of Tomoki, even with super-generous PCS.

The scream at the judge, who gave him a level look in the eye!

Again, I am not going to stan another skater that will break my heart…

I'm guessing because of his injury he maybe took out a lot of the in-betweens here? Really stalking the jumps and kind of empty beyond the steps for him.

Kevin is a DIFFERENT person than he used to be. No tears ... just seems to be a-okay with whatever happens. I kind of miss the emotional Kevin .... although I much preferred the happy tears to sad ones.
Agree -- he curses now more than he cries.

3 elements and now he is almost half of Egadze´s total TES, glad this looks ok for him to be off the podium in 4th

Miura back to throwing one competition away and rocking another, it seems (well until the second half).

3 LPs this season so far, this is one that is a repeat after getting 2 choreographed just for this year. I like his skating most probably behind Kagiyama and Aymoz but he's every bit as infuriating as the latter when it comes to consistency.

Just skate to Beauty and the Beast forever :-P if you're going to bring something back.
