This slide move by the Mrazeks just looks like she's accidentally sprawling all over the ice on both the entrance and exit.

WHY do they insist on opera everything this year? Italy ain't gonna give 20 medals per discipline.

Their speed is showcased nicely here and the elements fit really well to the music, but kinda a been there done that better situation all-around.

Nice intensity to start. The skirt is very effective in the opening choreographic element. This is more in line with the type of program they were doing as top juniors - bombing around the ice at full speed, ono large sweeping curves. I'm here for it.

I think this program is good, but the Mrazeks are so sloppy. Edges are wobbling all over the place, she's severely lacking finish in her movements. Coming out of elements, her shoulders are so high and her back is stiff. I want to like them more than I do, sigh.

I hope the Mrazeks get some good results this season so they can afford to get choreo from someone other than Zanni next year. Since they’ve moved up to seniors their programmes have ranged from bad to bland and they are much too exciting skaters for this. At least it isn’t AI music, I guess.

That first lift is definitely a case of just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Mrazes are hitting some of the ugliest positions ever. It is almost like a parody dance.

I wish they'd leaned into the camp. It was so funny when she was throwing her head around and biting like a rabid dog.

Love the Mrazeks but this dance is one cliché strung after another.

Mazrakova has a super long skirt - I hope it doesn’t cause issues like it did in their jr days.

Is it designed to hide her lines? In that one lift, her leg positions were ugly and looked like they weren't quite what was choreographed.

Does Chris not know G/P are skating a reworked FD that they already had? I didn't catch it all but sure seemed like he didn't know.

I remember you telling us when he first appeared on Peacock that he doesn't follow the sport. (Which explained his bizarre coverage that first season. Horrid.) I think he does now, but if he had a gap in paying attention, that would explain it.

Why were all of the elements seemingly scored before they did their character steps? That was weird seeing all of the boxes filled in and they had an element to go.

She needs more tension in her legs. In a lot of the lifts, they seemed to just dangle and not be held.

Well, 5th was the best Mrazeks could have hoped for. Lots of work to do.

Weaver also said that the one-foot part of the section is supposed to end with the hop, so any one-foot step after that doesn't count.

Zanni has a mini-empire, and all we hear is about how his teams keep losing levels. They really need the Shin Amano of Ice Dance to review everything their teams do with a fine-toothed comb, and then send Judy Blumberg over for Round 2.
