This team feels very much lost in the pack of American ice dancers. Whatever momentum they had two seasons ago after finishing third at US Nationals slipped away with Ian's edge at the World Championships.

103.10 = 1st Place

Ian and Emily have felt like they’ve been on a downward trend ever since their surprise qualification at US Nats for 2024 Worlds. He is wonderful to watch and captures all of the attention.
 
The program doesn't engage me. I got distracted and looked up to see a big red X. I like this team and the music and dance are pretty but it doesn't build.
