2025 Grand Prix Assignments

Pairs entries officially updated to reflect Chan/Howe replacing Shin/Nagy at Skate America
Pairs Entries

Niina Petrokina out of Finlandia Trophy
Women's Entries
Theoretically, Samodelkina should be at the top of the Alts List still, therefore next in line for the Finlandia spot. Hopefully she can get the necessary visa in time to compete as she would be in the medal mix & aiming to sneak into the GPF if possible. Seoyoung Kim is 2nd on the Alts List, followed by Mariia Seniuk.

Another change for Skate America:
Karina Akopova/Nikita Rakhamnin, Armenia have been added to the Pairs event.

Not reflected on the pdf grid yet on the main ISU GP page, but reflected in the entries.

Very happy for them to get this opportunity!

H/C WD from Warsaw Cup - might be a sign that T/V is out from Finlandia?
Possibly - or they're injured themselves. :(

ETA - injury is more than likely since Bekker/Hernandez are the next team on the Alternates List after Pate/Bye. I can't imagine BekHern would turn down a 2nd GP even if they do wind up going back to back from SkAm to Finlandia.

If that is the case, B/H is next in line and could get their 2nd spot but the timeline might be to short for them with SA... and depending on when T/V might end up making their decisions..

Sooo could we end in the situation with R/M getting a last minute spot? Which would make sense since they train in Oberstdorf and probably can do a quick turn around.

And we would end up seing two compete different Romeo and Juliet programs in one event 🤭

I´m not going to lie - I won´t be sad in that scenario happens because I do feel like Finlandia would be a nice GP experience for the Swedes... and surely after what happen in Beijing getting a last minute GP spot would be a nice revenge...

You are totally right... I checked and they are ahead of H/C on the list. I was sure H/B was just behind them.

I do agree they are not unlikely to turn down a spot unless T/V WD too late. I mean they probably need to know by this week if they can make the logistics.
