Is Four Continents not available in Canada on the ISU YouTube channel? I will have to watch pretty much everything on video because of the 13-hour time difference. Does CBC put the videos of the different events up after they've been streamed live?

As far as I know Canadian IP addresses will work for the ISU YouTube stream - but as of the time of this post they are not showing any upcoming figure skating here from my Canadian IP address - https://www.youtube.com/@SkatingISU/streams

Perhaps someone with an IP for a country other than USA or Canada would please have a look to see if there are any ISU YouTube links for 4 Continents yet.

CBC Sports has so far made replays available for almost all figure skating they stream live, but it is not instantly available and sometimes they seem to miss putting up the odd segment for unknown reasons. The links will be different than the ones for the live stream and should be found here once they are available - https://www.cbc.ca/player/sports
Once you have the link, the video should still work even if CBC Sports no longer displays it on their webpage, so it's a good idea to save a list of replay links if you want to go back and watch in the future - I'm not sure how long CBC Sports keeps showing it on the webpage.

(By the way, the CBC Sports live stream links can be found here - https://ici.radio-canada.ca/sports/...nage-artistique-canada-programme-libre-femmes )

GEM only has live streaming - no replays. The links can be found by scrolling down to the Sports section here - https://gem.cbc.ca/live

If Canada has access to ISU YouTube live stream then there will also be pretty much instant access to replays using the same links as the live stream but moved to a new location on the ISU YouTube site.

Individual event segments, (e.g. Pairs Short Program), as well as individual skater videos should appear on the Video page here - https://www.youtube.com/user/SkatingISU/videos

Playlists of all individual skater videos should be accessible from the Home page here when they are recent - https://www.youtube.com/@SkatingISU/featured
or the Playlist page here - https://www.youtube.com/@SkatingISU/playlists

Imho it's a good idea to keep a list of these web addresses.

Edited to add: I try to post the CBC Sports replay links when they are available.

Wedgie Data results page doesn't usually show up until the day before the competition for ISU Championships, GPs and JGPs.

NBC isn't covering this competition on their main network but there are "highlights" being offered on E! which is a cable network. This link uses an app to watch E! without cable:

I just scrolled through the app and it is showing some coverage. I don't know if there will be commentary or not, but it might be something to check out.

And I just used the Fios navigator to find the E! detailed showings. All times Eastern.

Saturday, Feb 22, 8 am, men’s free
Saturday, Feb 22, 10 am, pairs free & free dance

It’s strange that these are popping up so late. They still haven’t shown up on the TiVo listings. To be safe, I’ll set up recordings at those times no matter what the program guide says.

Hmm what do you think the odds are I will get the skating in the Dominican Republic on you tube? My experiences so far with YouTube ISU feed is yes in Europe and Canada and no in USA - hmm will have to see.

You should be fine. As far as I can tell, ISU uses a block list, not a country by county yes/no list.

So, I wonder what's going on? I know we can livestream CBC in Canada BUT I can't watch most of it live. Sure hope they put up replays or I may not be watching Four Continents at all which would totally suck!! I love the ISU site because you can rely on replays of everything...and very soon after each event finishes.

Just checked the E! Website. It’s now showing that the men’s short will air at 11 am.
The whole “who is covering and at what time” is a huge cluster. I’m sure the ISU is making sure its Korean and Japanese partners are happy, but it’s FOUR continents.

Korea is 14 hours ahead of the US East Coast, so an 11am start time means that the E! broadcast is clearly tape-delayed and has nothing to do with the actual event schedule or the Korean & Japanese broadcast partners. Everything will be shown live on Peacock, as it always is.

But for those without the ‘cock, the E! option lets cable users see it and the rest of us to DVR it so that we’re not constricted by the music rules for taking down the live streams.

So is this something to do with SBS rights do we think? Hopefully not because CBC Sports, Gem, peacock seem to think there will be an ISU stream.

Whatever shows up on E! will be the cable airing from Peacock. I doubt it will include the first group, but will be happily surprised otherwise.
