Has anyone seen anything about commentators for the NBC broadcast?

Not yet but I will link to the info when it is made public. I assume it will be Terry/Johnny/Tara again with Gabriella Papadakis for ice dance, Andrea Joyce interviewing and Adam Rippon backstage like last year in Wichita?

I assume you're asking about Nationals - most of NBC's NBA coverage is on Mondays and Tuesdays so hopefully that means we'll have Terry.

Speaking of Terry, NBC has announced that he will be the co-host of the opening ceremony telecast, filling the role usually held by Mike Tirico. Link

I would expect a more detailed press release listing all of NBC's commentators (including those for skating) in the next couple of weeks.

I am trying to remember if USFS streams the competitions to other countries? I know USAG does, but I can't remember if it's the same for skating (as a Canadian who will try to watch both Nationals at the same time)

I saw a post on X from someone in Japan who noted that at least the Saturday & Sunday events are being broadcast over there.

I know that US Nationals was available on the Olympics YT channel in 2022, but I'm not sure if there are plans to do the same this year.

While Peacock outside the US is geoblocked, there is a lot of coverage on US cable channels.

FYI, my DVR guide is showing a broadcast of the RD on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm ET on USA. So not exactly live but close.

I'm also seeing a broadcast of "figure skating" on Sat from 6 to 8 pm ET on USA that is described as "figure skating events around the world" that I assume is a recap of Nats events but who knows.

YouTubeTV changed the names of some of the events so they are no longer getting picked up under “figure skating.” The Rhythm Dance and Men’s Short Program have to be added to the library by searching under their titles.

The name of the Women's Short Program has also now changed on YTTV so I had to add it again to my library.

I couldn't find Mens FS and was confused why Women's FS was being shown on Sat when it happens on Friday until I fugred out that the tile was mistitled and it should be M FS and not W FS. I am a lot less confused now.

It does mention Bill Spaulding as one of the commentators for Figure Skating, along with Terry. Sounds like we better get used to a new voice as the play by play person for Skating. From what I have heard of him so far, he's not bad; very business like. I just don't know if he knows anything about skating.

In a quick google, I find that he has just finished announcing the speedskating trials. He used to be the play by play announcer for the New Jersey Devils Hockey team. His contract was not renewed. So, he knows ice. Put him with Tara and Johnny - that could be interesting.

I thought Spaulding was pretty good at the speed skating trials last week with Joey Cheek (his primary sport for Milano, I'm guessing). Now that I think about it, since Terry is doing the opening ceremony, that overlaps some with the team event. I wouldn't be surprised if we get Spaulding for the team event and then it switches over to Terry for the individual events.

I'm not happy that there won't be an ice dance person. For that matter, I always wish there was a pairs person.
