They skate big and nice lightness to their movement, he struggled on twizzles and movement became more ragged and less polished toward the end. Too bad.

Big mistake from Namu in the twizzle sequence. They did a good job of differentiating the music, and they opened up their skating for the second piece.

I don't see how Korea doesn't medal in the TE. France, USA, Canada and China are the other 4 teams. France's singles skaters will knock them out of the running while the USA & CAN are all but guaranteed to medal since they're the only countries with entries in pairs also. That leaves KOR & CHN to battle for the last medal and I expect that Korea's singles skaters will propel them onto the podium.

Blanc Klaperman's fall was at the end of the twizzle sequence so whether they win or not may depend on whether the judges feel it affected the quality of that element. Overall their skating has so many great qualities with the speed, skating skills, and control. Beautiful piece of choreography.

French jr national champs (who were not selected for jr worlds so this is their biggest event of season).

Fall from him after end of twizzles, smooth skating with good flow, skating somewhat internally, nice lifts, most maturity of any of the teams.

Got through the twizzles. As they get older, they’ll want to add more complexity to the lifts, she has more expression near end of piece than in beginning. Not the maturity of the French, but compare nicely to the Brits. Nice basics and, of course, room to grow for future. Good job.
