If Brody, Khoi, Frederick, and Yul make the team, who should get the 5th spot?

I'm not convinced that Yul is a certainty. I really want it for Donnell but numbers don't lie and Nedoroscik brings the most points to the table. I hope Donnell can increase his scores enough at Trials to justify selection.

I mean no one is ever a certainty. Any one of them could get injured or have a trash trials (I was going to put names as examples then realized I do not want to be responsible for cursing anyone). But based on the past two nights Yul is in a better position than the people on this list.

I voted Donnell just because I think he deserves to be on an Olympic team. I agree Nedoroscik brings in the numbers but he also literally brings nothing else. If there's an injury or something weird goes on, he can't even bring out any meh routine just for a score. That's so weird to me and a lot of pressure on everyone else.

Nedoroscik is also inconsistent - yesterday he only got a 14.6 due to a mistake, and one more performance like that will probably wipe out his number advantage. Also if some of the other guys hit during trials PH won't look quite as dire as it did on day 1. To be clear, I love Nedoroscik and would love the opportunity for him, but it's a really, really big risk to take him.

They do need Pommel help and I like Nedoroscik’s style - but I agree it’s risky with 6 events. Easier for the Women’s team to take that one event specialist like Maroney or Kocian, both of whom could have gone in on another event in a pinch.
