I'm not a huge fan of Ukrainian ice dance couples, but PodKovas are lovely matched and do literal circles around the Peals. I thought they were robbed yesterday.

But is it me, or the pool of music choices gets narrower and narrower?

The Dimash version of SOS is amazing and all, but their skating just has something missing for me. He's almost too tall and has the curse of always having to bend over awkwardly. Everything looks frantic yet there isn't a whole lot of complexity at the same time.

Mindless music change back to SOS, mindless 'artistic' slide move that really makes it look like she fell.

I know they’re patriotic Americans skating to Pearl Harbor on Pearl Harbor day, but they may want to consider skating for Israel if they can.

Seriously, on my TV, it’s less noticeable than the jeweled hair ornament on Eliana. (Yeah, I agree with Karen W about it’s not blingy enough)

Beautiful edge quality, love how easy they make the twizzles look, fakeout fall in choreo steps—please make laying/falling on the ice go away! (Or we could get rid of the choreo step sequence entirely—now that’s visionary ). Great ice coverage and I thought they were more musically expressive than earlier in the season

Well, I was asking in part to determine whether or not it was needless whickety-whack - the fact that it's unnoticeable leaves me totally divided. I mean... what's the point, but what is ever the point of any whickety-whack?!

But, seeing that it's JUST sequins, it's definitely not whickety-whack, lol.

If I can make leaning on the board and lying on the ice part of my athletic competition, why not?

Love them but coming undone, she messed up the final twizzle, pretty sure he put his foot down in the middle of the one-foot, everything looking heavier now too.

For Karine this program is a snooze, though.

FraFour are better matched than Dup/Nab and already better skaters than Caffa. But I expect them to be absolutely trashed by M/Bigot next season.

That was miles better than the rd minus the twizzles.

Her third twizzle looked off to me, like the way she uses her arms in the dance spin, felt like they were holding back a bit in comparison to some of their earlier season skates
