Definitely. Her tights never match.

I hate these loose straps on her dress - and I never noticed the ruffled neckline until she took her starting pose. I'm not okay with this costume at all.

Rinka's skating is just so anti-almost everything I like about Japanese skaters. The 3+3 is always wildly leaning and so twisted when she goes up for the 3T, the skating is often looking a bit rushed and not finished.

There are some beautiful moments, but if we want to talk about someone who seems to go in and out of commitment to the program, I'd say it's her.

I think you are both wrong. Alysa and Mone are about equal in presentation on their SPs IMO. Alysa is much better during the start of her program but then runs out of steam while Mone is good throughout but has times when she seems uncomfortable in the choreography and gives me white bread vibes.

Anyways, the performance PCS is based on three criteria: expressiveness and projection, variety and contrast of energy and of movements, and musical sensitivity and timing, I can see Chiba has it all over Liu IMO on the latter two of those criteria. If you want to give Liu all the points for her smile and her energy to start the program, then there's that.

Gubanova looks so deflated. All of the mistakes we saw in warmup, she was mumbling to herself afterwards and there's zero fight on trying to hold on to the jumps.
