That definitely wouldn't be fair to do after-the-fact without people knowing that would be the procedure before voting, because it might have impacted how they voted.

Agreed. So it seems either keeping the tie, or doing a run-off would be the most fair. We'll probably have to wait for @haribobo to come online to straighten things out. This might be more dramatic than the Grand Prix Final.

Or maybe the results could look back at votes in the initial rounds as a tiebreaker.

We could call it the Grand Super Finale like the way the GPF used to have “Super Finals” when they forced the GPF contenders to skate a SP and two competitive LPs in February right as they were preparing for Worlds and when the Americans and Canadians were cooling down from Nationals and the Euros just did Europeans.

I'm fine with a tie. That way they'll both be off the campaign list for next season and Spencer, Arnaud Caffa and James Hernandez can duke it out.
