Creating a new thread... FoI tour is back after a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic:

Fantasy on ice show has revealed some of the skaters on the show. The headliners will be Buttle, Fernandez, Lambiel, Weir and Oda. Arakawa will also skate.

All these shows in Japan sound amazing, and I know they're great opportunities for skaters to get performance experience (and I bet make a lot of money). I wish there were either live streams or on-demand streams available for fans - I'm sure they would generate enough revenue to make them worthwhile (even if only from the Fanyus).

Fat chance in having livestreams from Japan, which is one of THE strictest & most COMMERCIAL places on earth when it comes to these things. Remember how hard it is to watch the October events (Carnival on Ice etc)…everybody scrambling to find little private film clips days later?

Zakarian had a group of mostly russian skaters who performed in group numbers in FaOI (and also in AOI) in previous years. I wonder whether he was told to gather a different group that won't include russian citizens.

Friday will be his first performance for the audience since January 2020 (if we're not counting his participation in the final show of his summer camp students in summer 2020). It's very exciting. I hope we'll be able to get some video or something...
He mentioned this program in our talk earlier this season.

Together there will be four theaters by a major local movie cinema company (Vieshow Cinemas) holding the viewing event. It's nice that they arrange the 4 theaters around the island. The ticket price I got is 1,000NT dollar (roughly 30~33 USD). But I'm not sure how many viewers they're able to afford from the 4 theaters in total.

Seems that all videos from Shizuoka have been removed from YouTube - and those were the ones that I didn't download . Honestly, I don't understand those removals - it's not like the broadcasters will get more money by removing videos from YouTube, as most people watching them there are those that can't view them in cinemas or on TV anyway.
