2020 YOG Pairs SP & FS

Cate & "Dia" really exceeded my expectations here - very solid junior international debut! (especially their sbs jumps & throws) despite their falls on that last lift.

ETA: 6th or 7th place overall is where I hoped they could end up in this field and they will be 6th.

Muk is a cat in the air. She was totally leaning on the first throw and managed to right herself and land clean. and kudos for going for the SBS 3 flips. Junior nationals is going to be epic.

OMG M/M program is so freakin' ambitious, I love them!!! Please skate gods let them stay healthy and motivated for years to come! I think they might be my faves of all the Russian junior pairs right now.

P/R really can't afford mistakes, I don't think. (Actually, just realized they have an 11 point lead from the SP so yeah, they can afford to splat a couple of times .)

The thing about P/R is they are both They have only one issue keeping them from being super as seniors and I will be forever if they don't fix it. That was an incredible performance today. He is brilliant on the lifts.

Oh my ****ing god! I cannot gush enough about P/R! Her posture coming outta the throws is everything. Great height and distance on the throws and good lord the lifts. His edgewwork and speed in that first lift. I have no words.
Rylov is such a star! I love this team to death, seriously!

M/M. Another stunning pair. I really like this routine for them. They have a nice chemistry and the big weapons. I need them at JW. But we all know, junior nationals will be a very drama event which certainly will bring the tears
