Felt this deserved its own thread since it's not every day somebody passes 65 years. There are a lot of things one can say about her... good, bad, in-between, and all over again since she's been around for a long time, but she has left her footprint on the world and continues to be an influence.

Some of the most fabulous songs from the Tina Turner songbook haven't really been touched at all by the skating world. We've had a healthy dose of West Side Story, Queen medleys, Andrea Bocelli and all that fun stuff... but amazing songs like "I Don't Wanna Fight", "When The Heartache Is Over"...

"Cover Girls" it is! But there's plenty of room for originals too. :)

This post has inspired me. What are the Top Ten of current warhorses? I think the evergreen Carmen Suites Nos. 1 and 2 probably each deserve a spot, but I wonder about the eight others. Please post your Top Ten. :watch:
