I disagree. You just force it underground, not eliminate it. Better to have it in the open, then you can deal with it. Your suppression of things YOU disagree with opens the door for you being suppressed in your turn. Far better to let everyone have their say, no matter how distasteful it may be. That defines freedom. Something you seem to be afraid of.

Mr. Leonard,
Jaycee/s story is important because she might have become like her abusers - yet she did not. Indeed, she is triumphing, in spite of them. Her story illustrates the strength of the human spirit.

Looking at what happened, and being able to tell the story in whatever detail she chooses, is critical to her healing process; and will help her family in the years ahead.

She deserves our admiration and respect - along with the best that the world can offer.
