idk, but the cautious chorus of mild "wooo"s when he took his shirt off cracked me up, everyone was like: oh! okay, we know you're in your 20s now and want to be sexy, that's totally cool, you just took us by surprise there, is all, next time we promise we'll be ready!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this..but a huge thanks for all of the info posted here throughout the season..So much better than the ISU site for a confused old person like me..I hope you all have a safe..happy and healthy off season..

I`m not an Ilia uber. But, when he gets announced the place goes out of control. He has very strong fan base. I`m guessing that the ISU hoes this jumping miracle will interest more boys in the sport.

For Kaori she did get a lot of attention in the Gala. Also on Friday night there was great celebrating in the arena. It was a big we-love-you retirement blowout.

I see it (or rather hear it) for Ilia and occastionally for male skaters at some of the Russian contests I watch: Fan girl screams.

My favorite today was Kevin. That was beautiful. And I LOVE Amber's exhibition number. She's so free in it. I wish that could be a short program. Also yes to the "grown up" music for Mone Chiba. YES to that side of Isabeau! It would have been so boring if every ice dance pair gave us romantic ballads. Mostly they didn't---I enjoyed the variety.

Interesting typo. I do think the ISU is trying to milk his popularity, but I also don’t think the award was out of line. Ilia smashed the history books by doing a 7 quad program. It was a phenomenal feat that even he has not been able to replicate yet.

I don't watch Galas but had to come after seeing a clip of G/P and found myself thinking how sad we won't see that adapted next season for a RD.

And then I started wondering who is going to steal that idea for their own and then again, sad that they won't be doing it themselves.

I thought that too, but then she let it rip at that Nats press conference with "Amber keeps the hoes on their toes" and I started to suspect she may be much more interesting that I had previously assumed.
