Nakai's PCS seem a bit high considering the error, and her interpretation of the piece is totally wrong and has been all season. La Strada is about a girl who's sold by her mother to an abusive douche to be his "assistant." Not a happy, smiley kind of movie.

I don’t have a problem with people coming up with different interpretations of movie soundtrack music. Separate from the visuals, it’s just music and doesn’t need to represent the story it originally went with.

If you want a different interpretation then maybe don't do a costume which is deeply referential to the sandy beach settings and an iconic outfit worn in the movie.

I admit I haven't seen the movie, but doesn't the heroine do comic routines for audiences? Maybe that's the part she's trying to convey.

Has the women’s SP replay already been pulled by Peacock - saw something about on @Threads and I’m not finding it. If they are really pulling after 12 hours, those of us who work and have a big time difference are really screwed.

Last year the cutoff to make the FS was 50.98, though I suspect the bar will be higher this year (Kaiser was 23rd in the SP with a score of 53.68).

I mean, I agree to an extent. But for certain soundtracks like 'Schindler's List's, 'Jaws', and 'Jurassic Park', I'm always going to see that doomed little girl in red, one determined hungry shark, and a T-Rex trying to chase down jeeps...no matter how differently a skater tries to interpret such iconic music respectively.
