That was quite good and I’ve never heard of either of them. But then I tend to avoid Junior Pairs for cowardly reasons.

No need to fear, our Jr Pairs are looking good. I think it's really good coaching going on now. No scary lifts that I have seen. And lots of pretty clean programs.

Agree this is a really good event - I think a few of these pairs could be in the Top 6 or so at a Senior Grand Prix

yep, and she doesn't look like she's aged at all. Beautiful woman. She and Mark Ladwig were one of my fave teams of the past.

Not likely seeing as most of them aren't attempting a 3tw, SBS 3s or triple throws. They're all very pleasant, but the tech content isn't there yet.
I missed the 2nd group as I'm dealing with my flat tire right now. Currently at my local Les Schwab and hoping it's a slow leak that can be repaired rather than needing a whole new tire.

Haha - that's fair, aside from Grand Prix de France which had a couple of very low scoring host picks.
I was just getting a little over excited as I was mentally comparing how great this event is to this event a few years ago, which was really scary and somewhat ridiculous (in that the skaters looked like they could not even somewhat safely do the elements they were attempting).

Really nice event watching Jr Pairs. Teams staying together and staying healthy will bode well for US pairs. Results were good, no complaints from me.

They're already senior eligible. They made their senior debut at IceChallenge (supposed to have been Trialeti but their luggage got lost). I can't recall if they got the CTES min for 4CCs off the top of my head, but they are definitely looking more senior ready than on the JGP a few months ago.
Great skate for them and I hope they get sent to Jr Worlds again.
