I just posted this in the U.S. Women's news thread in GSD:

The Practice Groups document was updated today (12/29) and Ava Ziegler's name in Group B has been replaced by first alternate Alina Bonillo (5th at Mids).

Group B now says: Alina Bonillo, Brooke Gewalt, Amber Glenn, Logan Higase-Chen, Bradie Tennell, Sherry Zhang

Re-posting here from the U.S. Ice Dance news thread in GSD:
I don't know whether Sylvia already made note in Kiss and Cry
I hadn't noticed it until you posted so thank you! Yes, Huang/Mintz (11th at the Ice Dance Final in early November) have replaced Chen/Chitipakhovian (silver medalists at the Final):
JUNIOR ICE DANCE
Group A: Grace Fischer and Luke Fischer, Jasmine Robertson and Chase Rohner, Annelise Stapert and Maxim Korotcov, Aneta Vaclavikova and William Lissauer
Group B: Jane Calhoun and Mark Zheltyshev, Michelle Deych and Ryan Hu, Sophia Feige and Wiles Middlekauff, Clara Fugate and Warren Fugate
Group C: Hana Maria Aboian and Daniil Veselukhin, Marian Carhart and Denis Bledsoe, Effie Chen and Gordei Chitipakhovian, Anaelle Kouevi and Yann Homawoo
Junior Ice Dance Group C now reads: Hana Maria Aboian and Daniil Veselukhin, Marian Carhart and Denis Bledsoe, Annie Huang and Simon Mintz, Anaelle Kouevi and Yann Homawoo

Link above was updated yesterday (1/1/26) - in Novice Pairs, Elizabeth Hansen & Hudson Lewis (new team this season, 4th at the U.S. Pairs Final in November) have WD, replaced by Lauren Ji/Luciano Chen (5th).

I was looking over the color-coded schedule today and something stood out to me. It looks like the 3rd/top group of junior men and women are going to be skating on over-skated ice. It's usually two groups followed by a resurfacing. But for the junior events, it looks like they're doing the full events (both short and freeskate) without any resurfacing breaks? So, the top skaters are going to be skating on heavily-used ice? That seems wrong. The senior events are properly broken up with a resurfacing between the second and third groups.

Edit: my mistake, the senior short singles programs also do not have a resurface between groups 2 and 3 (I was looking at the practice schedule by mistake). And for senior free skate, it's a non-issue due to the breakup caused by the TV-focused scheduling of the events. So, I guess my observations applies mostly to the junior free skates not getting a resurfacing.

They will do a resurfacing after 2 groups. Ice cuts during events are not listed on the block schedule.
It's possible that I'm looking at might be an outdated schedule (it says tentative schedule and is from November), but it shows the resurfacing between the women's and men's events. So, that would be: three groups of women; resurface; three groups of men. I can't imagine this schedule is omitting mid-event cuts, because that would mean an absurd 2 groups of women; resurface; final group of women; resurface; two groups of men; resurface; final group of men.

Yes, that is how events are conducted. There is always a cut after 12 skaters/2 groups and then a cut between events. It's in the USFS rulebook, actually.

At club/non-qual comps, the ref has discretion over when to do ice cuts if there are smaller numbers in multiple events, so you will see several events with a small number of skaters scheduled one after the other without a cut in between, but at Nats, everything is by the book.

Huh, ok, thanks. It just sounds like it would make so much more sense to do 2W+R+1W1M+R+2M, but yeah I guess there's likely a rule that each event starts with a fresh cut. Thanks again.
