Could not agree more. Christina made a massive improvement in the quality of her skating and in ability to effortlessly hold attention. Madison Chock was totally over the top when she started though, and made a beautiful long journey into her star power.

Any idea why Sanchez, who made such a splash at Nationals, is off the team? He really must have been “off” at the camp if he was there.

You think the result was a bit Meh? From what I remember, it significantly improved the separation between PCS and TES and judged the skaters much more fairly. And that is without any special "only PCS" training for judges. I was quite bereft that it did not get traction as I saw a marked...

You are right. I guess JW cancelation last year really hurt Malinin’s chances. I wish Jason to have at least the same impact at Olympics as Adam did, and I wish Ilia both health and World minimums.

... but both Jason and Vincent were gifted their scores... Both had severe UR that were not counted. I not not hating on them- I love them, especially Jason, but the gap should have been bigger. I guess I just disagree that early season results should have an equal weight to a result right...

The message USFS sends is that anybody coming from Juniors in an Olympic year has no chance at Olympics unless they win the Nationals. I do not like this- there are never guarantees for tomorrow, and if one is clearly superior right before the Olympics, I think they should have an edge.
