I really wish the Taschlers could skate two good programs at major championships. They're good enough to do it but they always struggle in one half of the competition.

There was a seat in the front row so I took it since this older Czech lady who had her purse on it gesticulated for me to sit there The usher has disappeared then came back to ask if my seat is okay now and I asked if it was empty and she said yes so we’ll see

The straight line lift was invalid - she wasn't off the ice at least 3 seconds per Mark.

Yeah, I think on paper it should be perfect for them. But I think it has to be skated sharp to work. Have they skated it cleanly at all this season?

I don't think so. Mrazeks were in 12th after the RD and TurkVers were in 11th. Even if the Mrazeks only maintain 12th that plus the Taschlers 16 points equals 28 (16-20 get 16 pts for the FD).

Now, they were skating first in the free because of an RD error, but all the same, you seldom see the first team remain in the lead this long.
