What has Feigin been doing since the Olympics? She ended the program gasping for breath and is still doing so in the Kiss and Cry. It's as if she didn't do any training.

Is she retiring?I'll miss Katya, she gives it everything

Was it in her foot?Falls aside, Kurakova is one of the best emotional skaters out there. Skating like this with a stress fracture was incredible and I’ll even forgive her for skating to Moulin Rouge.
But couldn't that have to do with her injury?Kurakova used to have so much character! Now most of the program is going from one stressful jump preparation to the other. She still won over the audience with the last minute though.![]()
I wasn't aware of it. Just snarking ignorantly, sorry! But couldn't that have to do with her injury?

I don't think she's said one way or the other. Are we sure Kurakova is retiring?
Isn't she only 23 years old? Seems too young to retire. My hope would be that she can get completely recovered from her injury and then continue on for awhile.I don't think she's said one way or the other.
She'll be 24 in a few months. Not sure why that seems so much older.Isn't she only 23 years old? Seems too young to retire. My hope would be that she can get completely recovered from her injury and then continue on for awhile.
Yeah, she turns 24 later this year. She's mentioned that her and her coaching team have been working on her rotation issues and I would love to see her with those issues fixed. We'll have to see I guess.Isn't she only 23 years old? Seems too young to retire. My hope would be that she can get completely recovered from her injury and then continue on for awhile.
