2026 Worlds Rhythm Dance PBP - No Liquids Allowed Except For Crystal Waters

AZE skate to that too so the same thing applies :)

I would have found it a lot more difficult to not like FB/C if they had skated to Depeche Mode. Very happy memories of 90's London goth clubs
Hey, I was at a Depeche Mode dance party the other week and it was full of aging goths. Many of whom, like me, went home as soon as the clock turned midnight. :D

With 7 groups, we have the first ice resurfacing after Group 1.

The RD results so far:

2 Angelina KUDRYAVTSEVA / Ilia KARANKEVICH CYP 61.94 35.29 26.65 6.68 6.82 6.54 0.00 #2
3 Shira ICHILOV / Mikhail NOSOVITSKIY ISR 58.04 32.23 25.81 6.50 6.54 6.36 0.00 #3

The top 20 teams will go on to the Free Dance.

Hi everyone. I FINALLY convinced my TV that, on the GEM coverage, it was okay to leave the pairs' medal coverage from yesterday and let me move on to the live tile for the RD. Took me the complete duration of the first 4 dance performances to get it "unstuck" but I think I should be good for the day now. And now we have an ice resurface, so I'm off to get my first coffee of the day.

90s yes. But that 80s theme didn't cut it IMO. Though it beat having 3 decades which is barely a theme.
The 50s/60s/70s RD should have just been the 50s and 60s. I actually think that an 80/90s theme without the stupid "high energy" and BPM requirements might have allowed for some more interesting programs. In any case, I am so looking forward to next year's RD with the Golden Waltz pattern, although no doubt my high hopes will be dashed.:drama:

My hopes aren't high enough for dashing. :D I am pleasantly surprised to get an actual rhythm but I am sure the ISU will find a way to annoy me with some requirement or another.

Azeris are horrible, I don't recall seeing such weak skating since the Indian pair.

Cypriots were gods of skating in comparison, they look a bit unpolished.

Israelis were slower in person than on TV but Shira has excellent dancing ability and he's a good skater, so that worked fine.

Chinese looked fun

I don't think any of them will qualify

I like the 90s music .... have been dancing along in my chair with it all season. Agree that it's a bit heavy on Ricky Martin .... there WERE other music artists making music in that decade. Guess the dancers must find the Latin beat easy to skate too and it has the required number of beats (at least RM does). I'm a bit afaid that a steady parade of waltzes next season might put me to sleep but we shall see.
