Yes, but MiNiki also only had a L3 on the 3tw, so it really does come down to splitting hairs, IMO.

Hase & Volodin are totally my cup of tea. Beautiful, classic pair skating with stunning elements and beautiful presentation. Should have been first by more in my book.

Lia & Trent were great. Easily my second favorite skate of the night.

Glad to see a much better short from the Japanese team.

American teams did well enough, but all missed the SBS jumps, unlike the Olympics….grrrr.

Now for the Germans to keep their heads on and not get spooked by being in first this time!

Pairs are skating the free tomorrow…not much time to regroup.

Ehhhhh... I actually think the pairs SP today wasn't on par with the the Olympics pairs SP; same with the women. There was a lot of good skating but not a TON of great skating. Aside from that, the men are gonna do what the men are gonna do independent of any other discipline.

I managed to catch the last couple of groups before I had to take my kitty to have her teeth cleaned at the vet. Really good event.

Minerva is such a star. But Nikita was also rocking it too. Love watching them. And in terms of composition that program was excellent. A real tango. Definitely would give it to them on the Composition and Presentation.

I have issues with her "O" face or whatever it is. It looks like someone from Jersey Shore chewing gum. Or maybe it's just me.

More Men are trying the hardest jumps than Women and Pairs are. So it's bound to get messy at times. For example, only two women tried 3X today. Way more men are going to try quads than that, including the harder ones.

It’s just a little one, it looks that high because we got a ton of snow both this winter and over the last couple of days so the snow in the yard is solid enough to stand on without sinking. Also the second picture is zoomed in, there is no universe in which I am willingly standing outdoors with a moose no matter how little it is.

After watching tonight, the top two brought it, and I felt everyone else was good to just okay. Great fire from the #1 Germans and the Georgian team.

Lia and Trennt were clean technically but I found them a bit overscored in the PCS; I just don't feel like they mesh fifty percent of the time. Loved the Japanese team. Too bad they are so inconsistent, or they would likely be higher. Their speed is incredible.
