Im starting to see the transformation I saw in Kostner right about the same age in Repond. More control of her limbs, better lines with her arms, better posture. A lot of improvement. Too bad about that flip.

She needs to find her style and choreographer

Kimmy and Lorine are the complete opposite in jumps. Kimmys jumps are tiny but she has the best air and leg position in the jumps.

Lorine - - eh - has other qualities in jumps.

Well, no - both jumps in the combo have been called <, so her TES took a good hit.

Was she intentionally going for L3 spins or were those unintentional? Seemed like she ran out of time on the Flying camel to hold the catchfoot variation longer. 8 revs is still a difficult variation, right? I missed what happened on the combo spin.

NBC currently breaking down the height of Kimmy's jumps with exact measurements, how fast she rotates, and showing a graphic that shows where she should have landed compared to where she did land.

If they would do this for everything, I honestly might be on board. I have watched with a lot of casual fans who don't know anything about skating this Olympics because of the time of day it's on, and this is the kind of thing they genuinely want to understand to see skating as a sport.

There's been a lot of snarky comments made about his age on this forum during these Olympics. Things along the lines of he shouldn't be here ... isn't he, like almost 30 years old, and similar comments.

And .... just for the record, 28 years old is not "old." Getting up there for a singles skater, yes ... but in life, it's still SO young.
