IliaCam was brief; after he left the practice rink it was back to KaoCam: 3A, 3Lo to 2A, 3?Lo hand, camera keeps zooming in on his HEAVILY duct taped right boot! 4Lo hard fall, 3?Lo opened up and fell & lay on his back, 4Lo fall, 2Lo (wrapped leg), 1Lo then fall oh boy, 3S+3Lo, 2T, closeup on his feet as he entered 4T+3(?)T landed pitched forward and then 4T+3T good. Camera shifts to Ilia who is back to watch rinkside with his dad and Raf.

Rizzo & Grassl are on this practice too (ETA that this is SP group 4 of 5).

ETA2 IliaCam: warming up with stroking/edge exercises, backspin.

IliaCam, cont.: 1-handed cartwheel, turns into 1S, slo mo into 1T, 1Lo, 1F, 1Lz, 1.5?A step out & smiles, 1A, awkward looking 1S, 2S, 2T, 2Lo, 2F, 2Lz smooth & easy (assume he’s testing out his blades on this session after last night’s podium jumping), 2A step out, backwards alternate stroking to easy 3A, 3A, 4S, 4T, talked to Raf & dad, 4Lo off balance landing, 4Lo good flow out, consulted at boards again, 2Lo, 4Lo good, outside edge spreadeagle to 4F, 4Lz+3T good, interruption for ads, 4Lz+3T, 4Lz+3T, 3A, 3A looked overrotated so 1Lo hop out (Hershey’s ad with Jason saying “I really want to be a part of winning gold” ), 4A 3turns out, talked with Raf and done, bows at 2:59 ET.

I hope skaters in this backstage warmup know they are being filmed. It all feels super-stalkery watching this.

Skaters are supposed to know which are the warmup areas in which there are cameras (ISU has had Worlds backstage livestreams on YT in the past). Earlier I caught a glimpse of Aleksandr Selevko napping on the floor - that was the most amusing thing I've seen so far on Peacock's Training stream that's scheduled to run until 21:15 (3:15 pm ET).

(I am pretty sure it is not forbidden now, otherwise he would not do it but does anyone else have this kind of half knowledge that might be wrong or am I starting to make up stuff in my middle ages? )

It's definitely not forbidden for Olympic figure skating. Lots of skaters/teams have practiced elsewhere during the time between the Opening Ceremony & their competitions. It might be forbidden once the actual competition starts, but I haven't heard anything definite.

I believe it is forbidden at ISU events, but the Olympics isn't an ISU event.

Peacock's Training Livestream is showing ice dancers warming up off ice, including CarPom, Madi H. & Scott. Earlier I saw Ruiyang Zhang and Meda V. practicing alone(?) on the ice.

Evan has a different costume than he wore for the TE - the outer side of the sleeves is a grey-ish color that ombres into a dark brown at the wrist. It's similar to the one he had at CoC but I'm fairly sure it's new.

oooooo - Hmmmmm... I'm trying to figure out what is going on with her skirt . Yes, it definitely is different. The inside is fully lined in red but the outside ombres from black at the waist to red at the hem. I like this version the best of all the skirt iterations she's had this season.
