An - meh. Another one with stiff legs but good speed. Highlight was the reverse spin at the end.

Yun - After watching her skating to Les Miserables, I am feeling a bit miserable. She just skated through that music. There are so many highlights in the music that she could have used. Wasted opportunity because she is a good skater.

Yun completely ignored the music until the jumps were done. It was like a switch flipped and she started performing as soon as the last jump was I’m done, but so much wasted performance during major swells.

Jia is the girl who’s a personality (and consistency) away from a Worlds medal. Her skating is lovely and usually her jumps are too. But she’s caught in that Anonymous-Korean-Tinkly-Music net, and we need to know who she is.

The most exciting thing that has happened with this competition so far is that a spider landed in my lap and now I can't find it.

Shin - now that was nice. One fall but otherwise it got better as it went along. The step sequence was lovely and she really freed up so that the expression came out. And the Chorey Sq was good too. And spins towards the end were very nice. Lovely dress too.

Dupuis - went for 3A which looked short. Rest of the jumps were a bit scrappy. Loved her dress. Program was kind of skated through but I did like her steps and chorey sq near the end.

Landry's jumps are amazing when she lands them. I'm afraid to jinx her but this is the skate of her life! Doubled the last flip (she fell on it at nationals and got a +REP) so this was way better. Yay!

Never heard of Landry but the runout on her jumps is beautiful and she hears the music. I would rather watch her than Schizas or SMD.

That was very good from Landry! I think she has good potential. I tend to agree with Chris that the program needs work, but I think she has a good base of basic skills and isn’t too far off from being really great.

Yeah. I have a soft spot for Yi because of how badly she was bullied by Chinese fans after her bad Olympics but I can't with Ghost The Musical.
