Are you ready for some Football (NFL style) - 2025/2026 season?

Not relevant, but I had no idea Tony Gonzalez had a son with Lauren Sanchez, aka Jeff Bezos' wife.

This Chiefs stadium move reminds me of when the Warriors moved from Oakland to San Francisco after winning several Championships. There are still hard feelings about it.

I feel deja vous and NEVER expected this from KC. There is the whole Bloody Kansas history just before the Civil War when Quantrill’s Raiders came to Lawrence and killed 150 abolitionists and burned the town down. At the same time John Brown was traveling around killing pro-slavery folks. The thing is those events still came up when KU would play Missouri in the Big 12. It didn’t feel like a rivalry. It felt hateful. I was happy when Mizzou moved to the SEC. And now it feels like the division is still there. Who cares if the stadium is in Kansas? It will still be in KC. I’m irritated.

I knew of Lauren Sanchez before because of Tony but I did not recognize her with her mar-a-lago style face for quite some time.

I don't know who this purple-attired team in Green Bay is, but I wonder where they have been all season. :wall:
Green Bay has already clinched a playoff spot, is decimated by injuries in the past 2 weeks and has very little chance of improving their playoff seed.

Soooooo the Ravens were kind of playing a patched together quasi practice squad who wasn't trying THAT hard.

Well, the Ravens were also depleted by injury, with Lamar and a few other starters not playing. I'll take the win. There were some standout performances, like Derrick Henry. Hopefully it reminds the team of what is possible next season.

Well they ain't dead yet. The Steelers are in trouble right now.
Yeah, but the game is young...

And even with a Steelers loss today, we need to beat them next week in Pittsburgh. Even if last night's team shows up with a healthy Lamar, i'm still not optimistic. :(

I am! But I know I'm watching from an emotional distance because my team is out. But all these years with Josh and with Lamar. I'd love to see one of them break through for the Superbowl. I know that is a LONG way off but I can hope.

Just shut the f*ck up, Tom Brady!

I can't stand him! I was such a fan "way back when!" Then we hear about the advantages he took w/ "Spy-gate," "Cell Phone-gate," & "Deflate-gate!" He was so coddled by officials! They literally put a Tu-Tu on Brady; esp. at the end! Mahomes may have been robbed a couple times when they played! :wall: :grandpa::rolleyes::scream:

I don’t know if the play I’m thinking about was on Tom (Dee Ford offsides) but it painfully changed the outcome of that game. Painful for us I guess as it kept KC out of the SB. And of course the old overtime rules which the Chiefs tried to change that next year. And that failed too. But that year was still a blast.

@Cachoo - have you heard anything about Hollywood Brown being too expensive for Chiefs?
I have not. What do you hear? I know Mahomes contract is scheduled for $78 million next year which is a big chunk though still not the highest contract. Deshaun Watson is scheduled for $80 million.

I haven't checked out the details, but an upheaval is in the making as The Chiefs have been enticed to go to the other side of the border into Kansas; the rich side KC! It only makes sense, but the blue-collar history of the team is on the Missouri side! They're already talking boycotts! :wall: :grandpa::confused:😱

I guess I misread this. That Hollywood would be short of earning all the extra bonuses
