I feel deja vous and NEVER expected this from KC. There is the whole Bloody Kansas history just before the Civil War when Quantrill’s Raiders came to Lawrence and killed 150 abolitionists and burned the town down. At the same time John Brown was traveling around killing pro-slavery folks. The thing is those events still came up when KU would play Missouri in the Big 12. It didn’t feel like a rivalry. It felt hateful. I was happy when Mizzou moved to the SEC. And now it feels like the division is still there. Who cares if the stadium is in Kansas? It will still be in KC. I’m irritated.

I don’t know if the play I’m thinking about was on Tom (Dee Ford offsides) but it painfully changed the outcome of that game. Painful for us I guess as it kept KC out of the SB. I have not. What do you hear? I know Mahomes contract is scheduled for $78 million next year which is a big chunk though still not the highest contract. Deshaun Watson is scheduled for $80 million.
