I almost (almost..) don't care about the jump rotations because Yuna is GLORIOUS. So effortless in her movements, so much control over the blade, so much pure happiness. Beautiful use of arms and her entire body.

If Everhardt is a 7.07 presentation, this is pushing 10.

The Lutz jumps got away from her, but her overall skating quality, and joy of performing make everything better.

-1.00 = Falls
118.27 = 1st Place

Messy skate on the jumps aside, Aoki has such great skating skills. Her step sequence is so good, she's just able to express the music with her whole body while she rides these deep edges, changing the plane of her body as she sinks inter her knees and uses that momentum so well. So so so good.

I wish the beading on her dress was not so matchy matchy, a slightly deeper blue would make it stand out better.

I mean, I get what you're saying - Emma's no great shakes, but La La Land has never tried to pretend it was Les Mis and shoved Anne Hathaway into a singing role meant for a legitimately talented Broadway actress.
