Well that was something. Tomoki skates his best SP and is in 9th, that must be discouraging.

Yes and no - it was a good field today - which means tomorrow will likely be rough. He's one of the few guys this season who've been able to skate relatively error-free in the FS, so if he can replicate what he did at CoC last week tomorrow then I expect him to move up a few spots.

Also, it's the score that matters not the placement for the USFS selection pool. They want to see consistently good, and potentially rising, scores.

He doesn't carry a lot of speed out of it and doesn't cover much ice.

I think yes. He was just marking the jump in the 6 minute warm up (that I saw at least). @tony mentioned he is nursing a minor injury. Perhaps he'll go for one or both he has planned in the free tomorrow, but today he definitely seemed to want to go clean and not risk it.

Even with the fall on the second jump of the combo, it's a well constructed and well presented program from Sadovsky.

Between him and Gogo, I don't think Canada really needs Messing to return for nationals. (Guess he's still returning?)

They can both be SO great but they also start menning with the best of them..
