2025 Skate Canada Mens SP PBP - The Nightmare Before Quads Miss

I noticed that at Worlds. I think it's kind of weird, but maybe that's because I don't want to credit her with a redeemable quality.
At Skate America she could not take her eyes off of him in practices. But it's totally in a soft admiring way, not the ice-cold stare with her arms crossed that she gives her own skaters. And if you watch the coverage of his free skate from that event (his all-time great), I think you can see she was smirking for him when he ran out of the kiss and cry after seeing his score.

Some of these music selections make no sense to me. This is an Olympic season, pick Olympic worthy music! This isn’t Adam Rippon, just doesn’t make sense to me for Tomono in such a competitive men’s field in Japan.
Separating himself from boring.

Memola usually gets hosed on PCS, but I can't say I disagree. His height is a hindrance to be able to get way down into the knees but it's all very clunky between the elements while still being able to emote the hell out of the program.

Anyways, edge call and underrotations coming so his score will sink.

Nikolaj finding ways to improve his skating season after season - more consistent, more speed, more stretch.

He needs to beat Egadze. I am counting on team Italy medaling over Georgia. Not that they’d use him over Grassl…

I like Memola well enough but he doesn't seem to know what to do with his height. I know it took Gogolev a bit to adjust to his height while competing but he's not as tall as Memola so it doesn't seem to be quite as much of a hindrance to him like it does with Memola.
