Now back to my seat in the family room :)
Kevin Reynolds is joining the commentary from Auckland, NZ where he currently lives.

Ah, Samoilov! I always forget about him, and then when he comes on the ice, I get excited cause I'm like, oh, I know him! I like him! That's a pleasant surprise.

I'm going to imagine Gogolev as a debonair hitman. He's giving off Russian Bond henchman vibes with the black gloves. I hope he pantomimes poisoning someone and/or using a silencer. (If that's not his theme, shhhhh, let me have my delusions).

My prosecco should be chilled and I feel like I need it for this

Ugh, Aleksa just get away from McLeod. Even if she's a great coach in other ways. His skating has gone nowhere, it looks low budget, and now the costume does too.

I just do not understand why people won't make a change if there's very glaring issues in their skating, unless they are there to be mid-range and get trips to different countries a few times a year paid by their Federation.

Selevko the Elder was always my favorite, but I'm not sure about his hair. I might have to rethink my sibling preferences.

Roman has the best skating costume on the ice.

What is with the shiny green bolero of Aleksa?

4T maybe needs a review. 4S was a beauty. Spins are mid at best but the catchfoot held for so long was nice.

I find his carriage super sloppy still, but at least the program has choreography. In the last few years it wasn't always the case. I'd still have the PCS maybe ~7.5 at best.

Gogolev's 4s was a beauty, but until the steps I felt like performance level was almost non-existent.
