Many costume don’ts with this gal: the “whoops forgot my competition tights” half over the boots, the “showing off my undies” look because dressmaker thought a sheer back would be cool, sparkly belt below the waist that makes a tiny skater look wide. Love the color, though. And that was a solid skate.

Just loved that from Aoki. Instantly within the first few seconds you see her presence, command, use of movement and body, strength, sharpness and smoothness. So much to love about her skating! Hoping she can have a great season as some other Japanese contenders have struggled.
