@Server Guy, it looks like the board software was updated recently. Some of us don't have quite the visual acuity we once did. Would it be possible to make highlighting darker so we can see it better?

Related to that, can we select our own theme? I couldn't figure out how.

I don't think anyone can see the highlighted text, tbh. It's basically the same color as the background of the text bos which is now a color and not white.
 
Chiming in to plead for more contrast in the highlighting. When I now select text to edit, it's very hard to tell whether it has in fact been selected. Merci beaucoup. ??

And yeah, the current text highlighted is way too low even for me, just barely visible, it must be much worse for others. When I toggle between BB code though, it ends up looking fine, but I think most won't want to do that.
 
I've fixed the colour of the highlighting, sorry about that!

What do you mean by selecting your own theme? There are only two options and you can choose between them on this page under the style section: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/account/preferences

I'll look in to making links more visible, yeah.
 
Copy-pasting quotes isn't working properly for me either, when I'm in wysiwyg mode. Like I quoted someone and wanted to paste that into a prior post, but all I got was text, instead of the quote box.

Works fine in code mode.

ETA: Er, and now the 'who's viewing this thread' bar has disappeared. ETA2: Okay, that's back now.

What browser is this happening on? Does it go up and then back to the editor? I'm seeing some weird scrolling behaviour when quoting posts as well but haven't been able to track it down yet.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of how quoting works in this update. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait for the next update to see changes to that.
 
I’m on Chrome. It goes up but I have to come back to the bottom where my reply is manually.
 
I've always noticed that member's signatures are so light, too. It's like a very pale or light pastel blue. I decided to add text color to my signature where it could be seen and read more easily. That is one solution I found, and it works.

I'm on Firefox.

When I click on latest post made by a poster I've not ignored, it takes me to the latest post.

When I click on latest post made by a poster I've ignored, it takes me to the latest page. (ETA: Or perhaps the last page I'd read)

ETA2: Actually, scratch that. I seem to be going to the last post I'd read in a thread, no matter what, now?

And oops I’m not on my laptop, I’m on my iPhone. So Safari.

It's also at the bottom left side of every page on the forum.
 
On chrome on my iphone and laptop, with the new update, jump to new is having issues if the only new post is someone on my ignore list. It used to go to the last post in the thread, and I think show a little thing of who the new post was and "show ignored post." Now it is going to the top of the last page, so I get confused and think that's where the new post is.
 
Same here. I thought it was whenever I clicked on a thread using the Ecosia app on my phone, but it turns out to be only when the last post is from someone on my Ignore list.
 
It's not just on my iPhone: it just happened from Firefox and Chrome on my Mac. I could see from the homepage that the last post was by "Ignored Member," and when I clicked on the thread, it brought me to the top of the page.

This issue appears to have been resolved. :)
